How to say goodbye

Darling, look into my eyes
I want to memorize your face
Your stubbled chin, your clefted jaw
The way that your lips taste
Let my fingers find your hair
Let my mouth graze your cheek
Then baby, pull me close to you
So my tongue may touch your teeth
Now tilt your head back
So I can dive
Into the abyss of your eyes
And if I get lost, pull me out
By pressing your lips to my mouth
Run your hand through my hair
Tug it at the roots
Slide your fingers down my neck
Until you turn me mute
Place soft kisses on my eyelids
Let me plant one on your nose
Then wrap your arms around me
Till the warmth reaches my toes.
